  I'm not sure what the other reviewer was thinking when she gave this church one star. The truth is that Sonlife Community Church is a church that does church differently from most. Many churches are going for the glitz and glamour of the big Sunday show. That's fine for some, but it isn't Sonlife's approach. Many churches are going for the solemnity of ancient traditions. That's also fine for some, but it isn't Sonlife's approach.
  
  Sonlife Community Church is a truly low-key, casual church of people who simply want to be close to Jesus and to live the "Life of the Son." On Sundays, they sing songs that are neither the ancient hymns nor the Christian radio pop worship songs. Instead, they sing songs of a reflective, joyful faith in a truly sovereign God.
  
  They have teaching that isn't a bunch of feel-good stories or dried out academic studies. It's teaching that focuses on the Bible's answer to one simple question "What would life be like if we actually lived in relationship with God?"
  
  Sonlife is also a church that isn't always asking you to give more money or get more involved. They take an offering only once a month, and they keep their ministry simple so they can focus on relationships.
  
  Finally, they take time every Sunday to focus on prayerfully bringing their needs to God.
  
  At Sonlife, you can be sure you will find a community of people who are more interested in drawing closer to Jesus together than anything else. It's what you might call simple, authentic faith, and it's quite refreshing!
